Job description
Job Overview
As a Maintenance Manager at our hotel, you will not only ensure the upkeep of physical infrastructure and systems but also contribute to creating memorable guest experiences by embodying hospitality's warmth and care.
Key Duties
- Lead, train, and motivate a skilled maintenance team, fostering growth through mentorship and performance management.
- Maintain strict safety and compliance standards across building systems including mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and life safety, coordinating necessary inspections in line with national and local regulations.
- Supervise daily maintenance operations by prioritizing tasks and ensuring completion via the property maintenance management system while addressing service requests, guest issues, and emergencies promptly.
- Assist in overseeing property improvement projects including scheduling, budgeting, contractor management, and ensuring compliance with permits and licensing.
- Develop and manage energy conservation programs aimed at reducing property-wide utility expenses.
- Track key departmental performance indicators such as equipment condition, audit outcomes, and team productivity and implement improvements as needed.
- Collaborate with hotel leadership in managing safety protocols including evacuation processes and duty manager coverage.
