Maintenance Helper

Job Overview

The Maintenance Helper role involves carrying out various upkeep and repair tasks to ensure buildings and grounds remain functional and well-maintained within assigned areas. Duties may vary by location depending on client needs and operational requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide courteous, efficient, and positive customer service to clients, coworkers, and customers.
• Adjust work based on customer needs and feedback.
• Fix fixtures and hardware including doors, windows, minor appliances, and office equipment.
• Regularly inspect assigned facilities and perform necessary upkeep to maintain serviceability.
• Complete scheduled maintenance checklists daily, weekly, or monthly as applicable.
• Identify major maintenance issues and suggest corrective measures.
• Use tools and equipment safely and effectively.
• Commit to professional growth through adherence to departmental training policies.
• Follow Aramark's safety protocols and guidelines diligently.

Candidate Requirements

• Prior experience in maintenance work is preferred.
• Ability to comply with basic safety rules considering physical hazards involved.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Availability to work flexible shifts including evenings and weekends.
• Physical capability for activities such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, walking, and standing for extended periods.
• Willingness to wear uniforms and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when required.
