Role Overview
The Maintenance Engineer position involves performing installation and preventive maintenance tasks of moderate complexity under supervision. Available positions are located in Hamilton, Christchurch, and Timaru, New Zealand.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing customer sites for installation events, including assembling machines and conveyors.
- Support the installation of rebuilding kits by following established procedures and help restore equipment to production status.
- Utilize the TPMS tool to log preventive maintenance activities and corrective actions.
- Possess sound knowledge and comprehension of pertinent technical documents.
- Actively propose ideas and opportunities for customers’ business growth.
- Conduct all tasks adhering strictly to Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) guidelines and Tetra Pak’s safety policies, fostering a culture of safety within the team.
- Serve as a Tetra Pak ambassador, maintaining positive relationships with customers and upholding the company’s strong reputation.
Candidate Profile
- Limited prior experience in practical technical maintenance work.
- Enthusiasm and willingness to learn skills related to maintenance, repair, and installation tasks.
- Previous experience in a maintenance engineer role is preferred.
