Position Overview

Our Stafford laboratory is seeking a dependable and skilled Maintenance Assistant for a permanent full-time position. This role primarily involves both preventative and responsive maintenance duties throughout the facility.

Work Schedule and Compensation

• Hours: Monday to Friday, 6:30 AM to 2:30 PM (38 hours weekly)
• Overtime work may be required occasionally
• Compensation: Competitive hourly wage

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out general maintenance tasks within the facility
• Conduct inspections and perform repairs both indoors and outdoors
• Clean air vents ensuring proper airflow
• Repair doors and address minor structural repairs
• Perform painting and surface touch-ups
• Fix leaking taps and carry out basic plumbing tasks

Candidate Profile

• Previous experience in handyman activities or facility maintenance
• Ability to work independently while managing daily maintenance responsibilities
• Dependable, proactive, and committed to safety standards
