Job Overview
The role involves operating and overseeing Special Purpose Machines (SPMs) to ensure safe, efficient production while adhering to quality standards. The operator will perform routine checks, maintain accurate production records, and follow established safety and work procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate Special Purpose Machines according to established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Maintain safe and efficient operation of machinery throughout production cycles.
- Meet targeted production levels while ensuring quality benchmarks are consistently attained.
- Observe machine parameters and promptly report any irregularities to supervisors or maintenance teams.
- Conduct routine checks and basic maintenance on machines.
- Adhere strictly to work instructions, safety protocols, and quality guidelines.
- Maintain accurate records related to production and machine performance.
Shift and Working Hours
The position requires flexibility to work in rotational shifts, including day and night options. Shifts may vary between 8 and 12 hours based on production demands.
Location and Relocation
The job is located in Engineering Park Heavy Industrial Area, Hathkhoj, Bhilai, Chhattisgarh. Candidates must be willing to relocate to this location if required.
Candidate Profile
- Interest in the defence manufacturing domain.
- Experience with machine operation or in manufacturing processes is advantageous.
- Possession of ITI, Diploma, or other relevant technical qualifications is preferred.
- Fresh graduates who are eager to learn and operate Special Purpose Machines are invited to apply.
Compensation and Benefits
Salary will be determined based on the applicant's qualifications, expertise, and experience and is negotiable within the range of INR 15,000 to 20,000 per month.
Additional benefits include leave encashment and Provident Fund coverage.
