Machine Operator - Dairy Powder Plant (Day Shift)

Role Overview

Join the Vitaco Powder Plant team in East Tamaki as a Machine Operator on day shifts from 6:00am to 2:30pm. You will play a pivotal role in producing premium nutrition powders trusted across New Zealand and internationally, operating and overseeing processing and packaging machinery within a strict hygiene-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and supervise powder processing and packaging machinery ensuring efficient and compliant production.
• Conduct quality inspections and meticulously log production data.
• Manage raw materials and finished powder products in adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and hygiene standards.
• Strictly comply with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and safety protocols.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness to minimize contamination risk.
• Collaborate effectively with team members to achieve daily production objectives.

Candidate Profile

• Previous exposure to powder, dairy, food, or pharmaceutical manufacturing environments is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Strong familiarity with GMP, hygiene practices, and safety requirements.
• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to consistently follow established procedures.
• Physical fitness to handle lifting requirements of up to 25kg regularly.
• Dependable with flexibility to work scheduled shifts and a positive, team-oriented attitude.
