Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced CNC Cylindrical Grinding Machine Operator to join our team in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. The role involves operating and maintaining precision grinding machinery to meet production goals, while enforcing safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and upkeep advanced grinding equipment, conforming to safety and operational regulations.
• Design and apply effective grinding procedures to enhance workflow efficiency and minimize material waste.
• Work closely with engineering and quality teams to diagnose and fix any production-related challenges.
• Perform detailed inspections on completed products to verify conformity to technical specifications and quality benchmarks.
• Engage in activities aimed at improving grinding methods and technologies to foster innovation within the department.
• Manage component straightening processes according to job requirements and engineering blueprints.
• Ensure that all components finished comply with the required straightness and alignment criteria.

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum of 8 to 10 years in CNC metal grinding operations with demonstrated expertise in precision and quality output.
• Skilled in operating a variety of grinding machinery, including surface, cylindrical, and tool grinders.
• In-depth knowledge of grinding wheel configuration and maintenance practices.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and detailed specifications.

Preferred Credentials

• Hands-on experience with CNC grinding machines and related programming.
• Possession of certificates related to machining or equivalent technical fields.

Compensation

The salary offered ranges between INR 30,000 and INR 90,000 per month based on skills and experience.
