Job description
Role Overview and Duties
The Machine Operator plays a crucial role in maintaining product quality and ensuring smooth production processes. Key duties include supporting the Quality Inspector to verify product adherence to finished goods specifications, proper cleaning and maintenance of production lines, and accurate completion of daily production reports for submission to the Production Team Leader.
Operational Responsibilities
- Properly setup machines and conduct size modification changes as required.
- Manage the handling and storage of raw materials, including receipt, returns, and transfers to the Raw Material warehouse.
- Communicate immediately with the Lead Operator and Line Setter regarding any machine issues.
- Ensure that all finished goods pallets, waste bins, waste trolleys, and raw materials are stored in their designated areas.
Safety and Compliance
- Adhere strictly to safety and environmental guidelines during shifts.
- Engage actively in toolbox talks organized by the Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) officer.
- Participate in consultations and activities related to the development, planning, implementation, and evaluation of the Occupational Health & Safety (OH&S) management system to drive continuous improvements.
