Quality Control (QC) Inspector

Job Overview

The QC Inspector is responsible for carrying out various quality control inspections and tests to ensure product standards. This role includes managing sample collections, test executions, documentation, and shift handovers.

Primary Duties

• Conduct online inspections throughout production.
• Collect retained samples according to procedures.
• Perform necessary tests related to job orders.
• Manage QC activities at the start-up phase of each job order.
• Secure exemplary samples from new printed orders for Standard Color Cards.
• Maintain documentation storage and retrieval of retained samples effectively.
• Complete thorough shift handovers via the logbook to incoming inspectors.

Quality Assurance Administration

• Transfer any nonconforming materials to designated hold areas.
• Ensure the maintenance and tidiness of hold areas in the section.

Safety Responsibilities

• Understand and adhere to company and local health and safety standards.
• Comply with NAPCO-IFP safety policies and Saudi labor laws.
• Participate fully in occupational health and safety activities and safety meetings.
• Attend all safety training sessions provided by the company.
• Report all incidents, near misses, unsafe conditions, or acts to supervisors or relevant authorities promptly.
• Take immediate corrective action on unsafe conditions if feasible and safe.
• Ensure all safety measures are implemented before commencing any task.
• Refuse to work under hazardous conditions.
• Utilize provided personal protective equipment effectively.
• Inspect all tools, equipment, and vehicles before use.
• Familiarize with emergency response plans and locations of first aid and firefighting devices.

Authorities and Approvals

• Authorize the start-up documentation for job orders.
• Issue internal rejections for nonconforming products.
• Issue external rejections for nonconforming raw materials.
