About the Role
Join a rapidly expanding AI-focused LegalTech firm based in Bengaluru as a Machine Learning Engineer. This full-time position involves developing the AI foundation of a cutting-edge legal technology platform with compensation up to ₹60 LPA, commensurate with experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Train and fine-tune large language models and deep learning architectures tailored to domain-specific datasets.
- Create comprehensive frameworks for model assessment, benchmarking, and error diagnosis.
- Design and implement reinforcement learning pipelines including RL, RLHF, DPO, PPO, or preference optimization methods.
- Lead end-to-end experimental workflows, encompassing problem definition, data preparation, and deploying solutions to production.
- Collaborate effectively with product managers, engineering teams, and subject-matter experts on impactful AI challenges.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum of 3 years of practical experience in machine learning and deep learning model development.
- Proven expertise in fine-tuning and training large language models.
- Hands-on experience developing robust ML evaluation procedures and benchmark systems.
- Familiarity with reinforcement learning techniques such as RLHF, DPO, and PPO.
- Strong foundation in Python programming and software engineering principles.
- Experience using experiment tracking platforms like Weights & Biases (W&B) or MLflow.
- Ability to work autonomously in a dynamic startup environment demanding high ownership.
