Job description
Overview
At Servco Leeward, our mission is to deliver exceptional customer service by ensuring vehicles operate smoothly and safely. The Lube & Tire Helper plays a crucial role by performing essential maintenance including oil and tire services promptly and with care.
Key Duties
- Conduct oil changes by draining used oil and replacing oil and oil filters
- Remove, replace, and repair tires along with performing tire rotations
- Carry out visual vehicle inspections to identify potential issues beyond regular maintenance
- Communicate any vehicle concerns or signs of trouble to the Service Consultant promptly
- Dispose of waste materials such as used oil, filters, and tires responsibly and safely
- Maintain cleanliness and upkeep of all workshop tools and equipment
- Provide support as a backup Lot Attendant when required
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent credential
- Valid driver's license with a strong record of safe driving
- Competency in operating both manual and automatic transmission vehicles of varying sizes
- Possession of a basic set of automotive repair tools
- High attention to detail to ensure safety and accuracy in work
- An Associate of Science Degree in Automotive Technology along with oil and tire service experience is advantageous
- Availability to work a structured 4-day workweek (Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday) with shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM

Lube & Tire Helpers receive competitive hourly wages and have the chance to grow into roles such as Auto Technicians. Candidates interested in advancing should consider pursuing an Associate’s Degree in Automotive Technology as it is a prerequisite for becoming an Auto Technician.

Additional Information
