Lot Attendant

About the Role

Servco Toyota Honolulu is searching for a dedicated Lot Attendant to become part of the Pre-Owned sales team. This position offers a competitive hourly wage with room for growth into various roles across the company.

Responsibilities

• Clean and shine vehicles to prepare them for customer delivery
• Conduct thorough inspections to confirm vehicles maintain a professional look
• Arrange vehicles in the lot and showroom following dealership standards
• Transport vehicles around the lot and assist with pickups from the Vehicle Processing Center and other dealership locations as necessary
• Manage the key board ensuring all vehicle keys are properly accounted for
• Perform errands when required
• Carry out additional assigned tasks

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent qualification
• Previous experience in the automotive field is preferred
• Valid driver’s license coupled with a clean driving record
• Proficient in safely operating vehicles with manual and automatic transmissions of varied sizes
• Effective communication skills
• Collaborative team player committed to delivering outstanding customer service
• Capable of thriving in a fast-paced work environment
• Meticulous attention to detail
• Work hours are Monday through Friday, 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM

Advancement Opportunities

Starting as a Lot Attendant provides a solid hourly wage and pathways to progress to roles such as Detail Helper, Parts Delivery Driver, Parts Warehouse Associate, Lube Tire Helper, or Auto Technician. Note that becoming an Auto Technician requires an Associate’s Degree in Automotive Technology, so pursuing this qualification early is advised for that career trajectory.

Additional Information

Typical roles related include Lot Technician, Parking Attendant, Shuttle Driver, Detailer, and Valet within an auto dealership setting.

Compensation

The pay range offered for this position is $17.85 to $19.84 per hour.
