Job description
Overview
This position involves patrolling the entire property to ensure security by safeguarding rooms and assisting guests with access. The role includes conducting emergency drills, routine hazard and safety inspections, investigation activities, interviews, and audits of key control. Monitoring security systems such as CCTV and alarms, managing access permissions for secured areas, and assisting during emergency situations are integral duties.
Key Duties
- Respond promptly to accidents, coordinate emergency medical services or administer first aid and CPR when necessary.
- Document and compile reports while maintaining confidentiality and releasing information solely to authorized personnel.
- Handle conflicts and disturbances per company procedures, resolve safety hazards, and escort unauthorized individuals from premises.
- Ensure compliance with applicable alcoholic beverage laws and provide necessary documentation to employees.
- Support management in training and motivating staff and act as a primary contact for the Guarantee of Fair Treatment/Open Door Policy process.
- Observe company protocols relating to safety, accident reporting, personal appearance, and confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Provide welcoming customer service consistent with company standards and communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Develop and nurture positive workplace relationships and collaborate with team members to meet collective objectives.
- Meet quality standards and be prepared for additional state-specific licensing requirements if applicable.
- Perform physical tasks including moving, lifting, operating machinery, and navigating various spaces safely and efficiently.
- Carry out additional reasonable duties as assigned by supervisors.
Candidate Profile
Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent, with at least two years of related work experience and a minimum of one year in a supervisory capacity.
