Role Overview
As a Loss Prevention Officer, you will play a vital role in safeguarding customers, employees, and company assets. Your key responsibility is to maintain a safe, secure, and welcoming atmosphere by being a visible and approachable presence at store entrances to deter loss and support security efforts.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain high visibility on the sales floor, acting as a deterrent to theft and loss.
- Collaborate with store teams to ensure security of merchandise.
- Promote positive customer experiences by providing friendly and professional interactions.
- Effectively manage conflict resolution calmly and professionally when necessary.
- Serve as an ambassador for the loss prevention function within the store.
Candidate Profile
Ideal candidates have experience in customer-facing roles or security positions in fast-paced retail settings, although this is not mandatory. Successful Loss Prevention Officers will possess resilience, self-motivation, excellent communication skills, and the ability to remain composed under pressure.
