About the Role
Marriott International in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, is seeking a Loss Prevention Executive to uphold safety and security throughout the property. This non-management full-time position involves patrolling the premises, securing rooms, and assisting guests with room access. The role includes conducting emergency response drills, daily inspections for hazards, investigating incidents, and monitoring CCTV and alarm systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Patrol the entire property and secure all rooms.
- Assist guests in accessing their rooms safely.
- Carry out emergency drills and physical safety inspections daily.
- Conduct investigations and interviews related to security incidents.
- Audit control of keys and monitor access to restricted areas.
- Observe CCTV footage and alarm system alerts regularly.
- Respond promptly to emergencies and provide first aid/CPR when needed.
- Manage accident reports confidentially and provide information only to authorized individuals.
- Handle disturbances in line with company policy and escort unwelcome persons off premises.
- Ensure adherence to alcoholic beverage control laws.
- Use appropriate emergency codes when calling for assistance.
- Support management with training, coaching, and motivating security staff.
- Serve as the initial contact for the Guarantee of Fair Treatment/Open Door Policy process.
- Maintain professional appearance and follow company policies rigorously.
- Engage positively with guests, anticipating their needs and using professional communication.
- Foster good working relationships with colleagues, contributing to team goals.
- Comply with state-specific licensing and registration requirements as applicable.
- Perform physical tasks including extensive walking, standing, lifting objects up to 50 pounds alone or heavier with assistance, and maneuvering in confined spaces.
- Carry out other reasonable duties as directed by supervisors.
Qualifications
- A minimum of a high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- At least two years of relevant experience in the field of loss prevention or security.
- Minimum of one year supervising staff in a similar environment.
- No specific licensing or certification required, though some jurisdictions may have additional mandates.

Higher Secondary (Class 12)
