Loss Prevention Executive

Position Overview

The Loss Prevention Executive will be responsible for securing the property by conducting patrols across all areas, safeguarding rooms, assisting guests with room access, and monitoring surveillance systems such as CCTV and alarms. The role includes carrying out emergency drills, conducting physical hazard and safety inspections daily, performing investigations and interviews, and auditing key controls. The executive will authorize and document access to secure zones and assist employees and guests in emergencies, including administering first aid and CPR as needed.

Key Duties

• Respond promptly to accidents, contact emergency medical services when required, and manage safety hazard situations effectively.
• Maintain confidentiality of reports and documents, ensuring information is only released to authorized persons.
• Defuse disruptions in line with company policies, handle interruptions and complaints, and escort unauthorized individuals off the premises.
• Ensure compliance with laws related to alcohol control and utilize proper code responses to request assistance.
• Support management by training, motivating, and coaching team members while serving as a role model regarding the Guarantee of Fair Treatment/Open Door Policy.
• Maintain personal appearance in a clean and professional manner, uphold company policies including safety training, and protect company assets.
• Welcome and acknowledge guests warmly, anticipating their needs and providing excellent service with clear and professional communication.
• Develop positive relationships with colleagues, support teamwork to achieve shared goals, and listen attentively to employee concerns.
• Meet quality standards consistently and be prepared to perform additional duties assigned by supervisors.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements

• Inspect and visually check tools, equipment, or machinery for defects.
• Use computers and point of sale systems to access and enter information.
• Physically capable of standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods during shifts.
• Able to move or handle objects weighing up to 50 pounds independently and heavier items with assistance.
• Capable of moving through confined spaces and navigating uneven or slippery surfaces, as well as stairs and ramps.
• Perform a range of physical movements including bending, twisting, reaching, stooping, and pulling as necessary.

Qualifications

• Minimum education requirement is a high school diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.).
• At least two years of relevant related work experience.
• At least one year of experience in a supervisory role.
• Some states may require additional licensing or registration.
