Role Overview

The Logistics Operator position is a full-time role based on-site in Pristina. The incumbent is charged with managing the daily logistics operations, coordinating shipment arrangements, dispatching railcars and vehicles, and tracking the transportation process from approval through to delivery. The role demands oversight of inventory records, supervision of material handling activities, and maintenance of precise documentation for inbound and outbound goods. Effective communication with carriers, customers, and internal teams is critical to resolving delivery challenges, route optimization, and sustaining service standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate the daily flow of goods efficiently, including shipment organization and vehicle or railcar dispatching.
• Monitor transportation status and ensure timely delivery from initial approval to final receipt.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and supervise material handling processes.
• Ensure all documentation related to incoming and outgoing shipments is complete and precise.
• Engage with carriers, clients, and internal departments to resolve logistical issues and optimize routes.
• Utilize logistics management systems to track operations and support performance reporting.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in logistics processes to enhance operational efficiency.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Proficiency in material handling and inventory management to guarantee safe and efficient goods movement and storage.
• Capability in dispatching and logistics management for effective coordination and optimization of transportation activities.
• Strong customer service aptitude to communicate with clients, address inquiries, and manage operational challenges.
• Experience with logistics or transport software, data entry, and basic reporting methods is advantageous.
• Excellent organizational abilities, keen attention to detail, and skill in prioritizing tasks in fast-moving environments.
• Willingness to work on-site in Pristina and collaborate with cross-functional teams while adapting to shifting operational demands.
• Prior experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain roles and relevant vocational or higher education is preferred.
