Position Overview

The Logistics Officer position at Habav is a full-time role located on-site in Kenya. This role is responsible for managing daily warehouse operations such as the receiving, storing, and dispatching of goods while keeping precise inventory records. The officer coordinates transportation schedules, monitors shipments, and addresses any operational challenges to ensure the timely and cost-efficient transfer of goods.

This role involves close collaboration with internal departments and external partners, preparation of logistics documentation, and adherence to company policies and regulatory standards. Performance tracking, process optimization, and contributing to the overall effectiveness of Habav's supply chain activities are key responsibilities.

Qualifications and Skills

• Strong expertise in inventory management and warehouse operations, including maintaining accurate stock data and optimizing handling and storage procedures.
• Experience in logistics management, with skills in route planning, shipment coordination, and overseeing transportation service providers.
• Familiarity with supply chain management concepts, coordinating procurement, distribution, and delivery functions.
• Proficient administrative capabilities encompassing documentation, reporting, and use of office and logistics software tools.
• Experience working in logistics, warehousing, or related supply chain roles, ideally in dynamic or high-volume settings.
• Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, with a strong emphasis on attention to detail and accuracy.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities, comfortable working with diverse colleagues and external stakeholders.
• Educational qualifications such as a diploma or degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or allied fields are preferred.
