Role Summary
This 12-month contract position based in Auckland (East Tamaki) is suited for individuals experienced in managing loan kits/sets within the medical device sector or those with a background in hospital CSSD environments. Candidates from professional warehouse settings with a detail-oriented and cooperative work approach are also encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect and maintain surgical loaner instruments and implant kits to ensure readiness and compliance.
- Monitor loaner sets, updating contents in response to product expirations and engineering modifications.
- Revise set inventory records to reflect current lot codes accurately.
- Comprehend and communicate processes related to the loaner ERP system efficiently.
- Manage the transfer of instrument sets from storage to stock ready for shipment with precision.
- Coordinate with Commercial and Marketing teams to uphold correct configuration and product representation.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Experience or familiarity with SAP software and RF Scanner usage is advantageous; however, training will be provided.
- Previous loan kit technician experience in a medical device company is highly desirable but not mandatory due to available comprehensive training.
- Open to applications from CSSD Technicians, Warehouse Professionals, and Biomedical graduates aspiring to enter the medical device industry.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work setting, maintaining composure under pressure.
- Exceptional attention to detail for accurate documentation and issue identification.
- Strong analytical skills paired with effective communication abilities, both written and verbal.
- Team-oriented mindset with the ability to collaborate effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (intermediate level), Word, and Outlook.
- Good physical condition capable of lifting and moving items weighing between 5 and 15 kilograms.
- Legal authorization to work in New Zealand is mandatory.
