Job description
About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated Load Control & Turnaround Coordinator to join our Load Control Department. This role focuses on guaranteeing on-time flight performance while adhering strictly to safety protocols and ensuring superior service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and issue Load Sheets and Load Inertial Reference Forms (LIRF) as authorized for the customer carrier.
- Send accurate arrival and post-departure communications representing the customer carrier.
- Monitor continuous compliance of aircraft loading and unloading activities to ensure safe weight parameters and proper center of gravity.
- Validate deadload weights from Pre-Weight Sheets and verify checked baggage adherence within safe loading limits to prevent hazards to the aircraft and personnel.
- Complete two manual load sheets monthly to maintain proficiency.
- Communicate promptly with responsible units and Unit Head in case of irregularities or operational disruptions.
- Ensure strict compliance with dangerous goods regulations is upheld.
- Report any incidents of safety standard non-compliance to the QHSE department through the Safety Management Team (SMT).
- Coordinate crew hotel arrangements, including calls and pick-up schedules, on behalf of the customer carrier.
- Work closely with the Ramp In-Charge to ensure all ramp flight operations comply with contractual agreements.
- Organize staff transportation and issue job vouchers to transport suppliers, adhering to contractual agreements and mileage budgets.
- Maintain positive relationships with supervisors and colleagues to foster a safe and punctual operational environment.
Qualifications and Skills
- Possess a Diploma or higher educational qualification.
- Proficient in computer literacy.
- Minimum of two years’ experience in the aviation sector.
- Customer-oriented mindset.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented planner and effective team player.
- Capable of performing well under pressure.
