About the Role

Transport for NSW seeks a dependable Linemarker for full-time employment based in Dubbo, NSW. This position involves supporting important transport projects by operating and maintaining linemarking machinery safely and effectively. The role requires teamwork and dedication to quality and safety standards aligned with Transport for NSW policies.

Key Duties

  • Guide and support fellow team members as needed.
  • Safely drive and operate linemarking machines within the Rural Linemarking Services fleet.
  • Assist with setup, pack-up, and maintenance tasks such as de-canting linemarking equipment.
  • Perform mobile traffic control duties during all linemarking activities, including operating light vehicles.
  • Support supervisors and team leaders in enforcing quality, safety, and environmental policies.
  • Complete labouring and driving tasks associated with safe linemarking operations, including special line marking projects and routine maintenance.

Work Conditions

The work schedule is structured on a 9-day fortnight. The role demands flexibility to work outside standard hours, attend emergency callouts, and travel extensively across the state, including regular overnight stays away from home.

Candidate Profile

  • Reliable and motivated team player with prior linemarking experience ready to commence immediately.
  • Committed to workplace safety, especially when working close to traffic.
  • Willingness to perform physical labour and communicate effectively with staff, community members, and external providers.
  • Prepared to undertake necessary training to obtain SafeWork NSW WH&S Traffic Control certification.

Required Qualifications and Certifications

  • Current Medium Rigid (MR) Truck Licence.
  • Valid Construction Industry White Card.
