Job description
Overview
This position, under the Power and Water Corporation within the Power Services unit, is located in Tennant Creek, Northern Territory. The main responsibility is to perform tasks related to the installation, repair, maintenance, and operation of Power Networks systems and assets. The role involves working overtime and being available for after-hours calls according to a roster. Additionally, the position may require travel to other centers within the Southern Region as necessary.
Responsibilities
- Execute installation duties on Power Networks systems and infrastructure.
- Carry out repairs and routine maintenance on electrical power assets.
- Operate and maintain power network equipment effectively and safely.
- Participate in overtime and respond to after-hours calls on a scheduled roster.
- Travel to and perform work at different locations within the Southern Region when required.
Remuneration and Contact
