About the Role

Tesco Ireland is seeking a dedicated Line Manager for its Abbeyfeale location to lead and support a department and its team, ensuring excellent customer shopping experiences. Responsibilities

  • Guide and motivate your team to consistently deliver excellent service, maintaining high standards and product availability to enhance customer shopping trips.
  • Achieve departmental performance targets and key indicators.
  • Make daily leadership decisions that empower your team to excel in their roles.
  • Implement the training plan to ensure colleagues receive comprehensive training, validation, and updated credentials.
  • Ensure accurate and timely completion of all departmental processes, routines, and systems.
  • Strategically plan and execute seasonal, promotional, and trade-driving activities to maximize sales, impact, and presentation quality.
  • Maintain all safety and legal procedures within your departments, proactively addressing any identified concerns.
  • Support colleague development by setting objectives, conducting regular reviews, career discussions, and maintaining active personal development plans.
  • Provide ongoing coaching and feedback to improve team skills across the store.
  • Create an environment fostering innovation, personal growth, and a culture where customers enjoy shopping and colleagues enjoy working.
  • Uphold company values as a humble leader, inspiring confidence and collaboration.
