Light Duty Cleaner

Role Overview

As a Light Duty Cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness in assigned building areas by performing tasks such as dusting, mopping, cleaning washroom fixtures, emptying waste bins, handling ashtrays, and vacuuming carpets.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out routine custodial duties including the operation of cleaning equipment, spot cleaning, sweeping, mopping floors, and waste disposal in shared spaces.
• Refill soap, towel, toilet tissue, and sanitary napkin dispensers.
• Conduct regular inspections and checks of cleaning equipment.
• Adhere strictly to all health and safety policies and protocols.

Qualifications and Personal Attributes

• Previous experience in cleaning is considered advantageous.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Dependable, motivated, enthusiastic, and a cooperative team player willing to assist wherever needed.
• Competent in using cleaning machinery such as I-mop and vacuum cleaners.
• Physically capable of fulfilling the demands of the cleaning tasks.
