Cleaner

Overview

The Cleaner role at our Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) involves ensuring a consistently clean and hygienic environment that enhances the customer dining experience. Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness throughout the restaurant including dining areas, kitchen, restrooms, and other specified locations by adhering to sanitation and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain immaculate dining spaces by cleaning tables, chairs, and floors to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
• Keep kitchen zones tidy and organized by sanitizing work surfaces, equipment, and floors to comply with food safety regulations.
• Sanitize restrooms thoroughly, including toilets and sinks, ensuring a hygienic setting for customers and staff alike.
• Manage waste disposal by emptying bins responsibly with consideration for recycling protocols.
• Keep track of cleaning materials and notify management when supplies require replenishment.
• Follow predefined cleaning schedules and methods to promote consistent and effective sanitation practices.
• Observe health and safety guidelines rigorously to maintain a safe workplace and prevent accidents.

Candidate Profile and Requirements

• Prior cleaning experience in a restaurant or food service environment is a plus but not mandatory.
• Familiarity with hygiene standards and safe usage of cleaning chemicals and tools.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently without supervision.
• Strong attention to detail and dedication to high cleanliness standards.
• Effective communication skills and teamwork capability.
• Flexibility to work various shifts including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
