About the Role
We are seeking a Lifestyle Bartender at our luxury St. Regis Hotel in Dubai. This role goes beyond mixing drinks; it involves crafting memorable and unique guest experiences. Our bartenders maintain a solid foundation in beverage preparation while staying informed about emerging trends, local specialties, and guests' changing preferences. As the host of the bar environment, you are responsible for delivering exceptional service not only at the bar but across the hotel. You will ensure flawless operation and presentation of the bar while building strong connections with colleagues and the wider community to anticipate guest needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality beverage service and create a welcoming atmosphere.
- Continuously update knowledge about industry trends and local offerings.
- Take full ownership of guest service and bar functionality beyond mere drink mixing.
- Collaborate with hotel departments to ensure seamless guest experience.
- Maintain attention to detail in cash handling, guest communication, and drink quality.
- Commit to workplace safety, uphold company policies, and protect company assets.
- Maintain professional appearance and adhere to confidentiality standards.
- Physically able to stand, sit, walk for prolonged periods, and handle objects up to 25 pounds safely, including bending and reaching.
Qualifications and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
- Minimum of one year of relevant work experience in bartending or related field.
- No supervisory duties required.
- No specific licenses or certifications mandatory.
Additional Information
This position is full-time and based onsite in Dubai on Marasi Drive. The job does not involve remote work. The role is classified as non-management within the Food and Beverage & Culinary category.
