Position Overview
At St. Regis Hotels & Resorts, the role of a Guest Service Expert extends beyond simply serving food and beverages. The focus lies in creating a remarkable and unique dining experience, where food and drink complement the overall atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities
The Guest Service Expert is responsible for a variety of duties including table setup, effective communication with the kitchen, interacting with and serving guests, as well as maintaining cleanliness of workstations and equipment. This role ensures that all transactions contribute positively to the guest's experience.
Work Environment and Physical Requirements
Success in this position requires a safe work environment, adherence to company protocols, and maintaining professional standards in appearance and communication. The job involves extended periods of standing, sitting, or walking over various surfaces, and physical tasks such as moving and lifting objects up to 25 pounds unassisted and up to 50 pounds with help. Activities also include bending, reaching, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
Qualifications
- Minimum educational requirement of a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Less than one year of related work experience preferred.
- No prior supervisory responsibilities required.
- No license or certification necessary.
