About the Role
We are seeking passionate and vigilant lifeguards to join our team at the Redcliffe War Memorial Swimming Pool in Queensland. Successful candidates will prioritize water safety and help maintain a secure, welcoming aquatic environment for all patrons.
Responsibilities
As a lifeguard, you will oversee daily pool operations and ensure safety protocols are followed across the facility and surrounding areas. Your role demands active engagement with diverse community members to create a safe, enjoyable experience for everyone.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Current Pool Lifeguard Certificate
- Valid First Aid (Level 2) and CPR Certification
- Blue Card and national Police Check clearance
- Strong understanding of occupational health and safety practices applicable to aquatic facilities
- Excellent verbal communication and leadership abilities to motivate and inspire others
- Availability to work flexible shifts including mornings, evenings, and weekends
Previous lifeguarding experience is desirable but not mandatory. Candidates must demonstrate effective communication skills and the ability to engage with people from various ages, abilities, and cultural backgrounds.
