Role Overview
As a Lifeguard at Places Leisure, you will work within a fun and energetic environment alongside a team that encourages collaboration and excellence. Your main responsibility will be to ensure the safety of all pool users by supervising the swimming facilities diligently and maintaining a safe environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise pool users and fellow lifeguards to uphold safety standards within the swimming facilities.
- Maintain a vigilant and safety-conscious approach, taking responsibility for the health and safety of all patrons.
- Oversee the daily operations of the swimming pool area and related facilities.
- Provide outstanding customer service by engaging with customers in a professional and friendly manner.
- Contribute to maintaining cleanliness and tidiness within the facility to a high standard.
Qualifications and Skills
A National Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) is preferred. However, safety awareness, competent swimming ability, and eagerness to learn are essential. Continuous support and training are offered to help candidates achieve necessary certifications including first aid and swimming teacher qualifications.
