Job Overview
The Legal Advisor position within the Legal Affairs department supports the company by providing comprehensive legal advice, drafting and reviewing contracts, conducting legal research, handling disputes, and ensuring regulatory compliance in Saudi Arabia to minimize legal risks and protect the organization's interests.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver legal counsel to management and various company divisions on daily legal matters.
- Interpret and analyze laws and regulations relevant to company operations.
- Identify potential legal risks and advise appropriate mitigating strategies.
- Draft, review, and revise a range of contracts including service, supplier, client, confidentiality, and commercial agreements, proposing necessary amendments to safeguard company interests.
- Coordinate with departments to fulfill contractual obligations and maintain organized records of contracts and their renewals.
- Conduct ongoing legal research and monitor changes in Saudi laws applicable to the company.
- Support complex legal issue analysis for the legal director and prepare legal opinions and recommendations.
- Assist in managing company litigation by coordinating with external lawyers, preparing case documentation, tracking court dates, and maintaining case records.
- Manage statutory and corporate legal matters, reviewing official documents, and coordinating with government authorities.
- Ensure company compliance with applicable laws and regulations, identify non-compliance risks, and help update company policies.
- Organize and safeguard all legal files and confidential documents with easy accessibility.
- Provide legal support to multiple departments including HR, finance, procurement, operations, and sales to review internal practices and participate in contract and dispute related meetings.

Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Law or related legal studies from an accredited university.
- Two to three years of practical experience in legal advisory roles.
- Proficient in drafting and reviewing contracts and agreements.
- Solid understanding of Saudi Arabian laws and regulations applicable to corporate activities.
- Experience conducting legal research and preparing legal memorandums.
- Familiarity with case and dispute management.
- Preference for candidates with experience in corporate or private sector environments.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
