Overview

Step into a pivotal role where you will enrich the team’s abilities and elevate service standards at a renowned hospitality brand. As a Learning & Development Supervisor, you will be instrumental in crafting and executing thorough training programs tailored to the hotel's staff, ensuring alignment with both job roles and career progression paths, while managing the allocated training budget for optimal investment returns.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create comprehensive training initiatives covering vital topics like workplace respect, diversity, employee onboarding, leadership, and customer service excellence.
  • Coordinate with department heads and trainers to analyze performance patterns, devise improvement strategies, and celebrate successes.
  • Continuously evaluate and enhance training content and delivery methods to fit evolving departmental requirements.
  • Maintain detailed training records via designated digital platforms to ensure compliance and tracking.
  • Supervise specialized training efforts, including safety protocols, job skills verification, and educational support programs.
  • Guide and motivate team members, monitor their progress, offer mentorship, and cultivate an encouraging work atmosphere.

Qualifications and Experience

  • A minimum of three years’ experience in Learning & Development or Human Resources, with proven skills in program design, execution, and impact measurement.
  • A degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Hospitality Management, or fields closely related is advantageous.
  • Expertise in instructional design, modern adult learning methods such as e-learning and hybrid approaches.
  • Assessment of training success correlated with organizational objectives.
  • Proficiency in Learning Management Systems, digital education tools, and Microsoft Office suite.
  • Excellent communication abilities aimed at engaging and inspiring a diverse workforce.
  • A commitment to ongoing professional development and knowledge of emerging educational trends.
  • Capability to collaborate across departments to identify developmental needs and support performance enhancements.
  • Strong leadership skills to oversee multiple projects and lead training teams effectively.
