Role Overview

The Learning & Development Manager position entails leading the strategic planning and execution of training programs that elevate employee skills, enhance organizational performance, and nurture ongoing professional growth. This manager will assess learning requirements, create comprehensive training initiatives, and ensure alignment of talent development efforts with the company's goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct training needs analyses to identify developmental gaps.
  • Formulate yearly learning agendas tailored to business needs.
  • Develop and implement educational sessions for various employee cohorts.
  • Manage both internal and external training resources efficiently.
  • Collaborate closely with department heads and HR teams to pinpoint skill shortages and set capability-building priorities.
  • Create training materials, competency frameworks, and growth programs.
  • Monitor training attendance and assess effectiveness through feedback and performance metrics.
  • Continuously refine learning approaches based on analytical insights.

Essential Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Human Resources, Education, Psychology, Business, Management, or related fields.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of adult learning theories, organizational capability enhancement, and talent development methodologies.
  • Strong proficiency in designing and delivering engaging training and communicating effectively.
  • Experience in project and stakeholder management.
  • Competence in interpreting business needs into actionable training solutions.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office, Learning Management Systems, and e-learning technologies.
  • Analytical aptitude for measuring training impact and improving educational outcomes.
  • Innovative, organized, and detail-conscious in developing learning programs.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for collaboration across diverse teams and management levels.
  • A deep commitment to promoting employee growth and a culture of continuous learning.
