Job description
Job Overview
As a Learning Assistant at International Schools Partnership Limited in Doha, Qatar, you will support lead teachers in delivering engaging preschool education. This role involves assisting with lesson plans, supervising children, managing behavior, and preparing learning materials, all while ensuring a safe and inclusive environment for young learners.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist lead teachers with executing daily lesson plans, educational games, and activities aligned with the preschool curriculum.
- Supervise children during classroom sessions, playtime, meals, and outdoor activities to maintain safety and encourage positive behaviors.
- Support behavior management by reinforcing rules and aiding in the development of social and emotional skills.
- Prepare and organize classroom resources and displays to enhance hands-on learning and creativity.
- Maintain a clean, hazard-free environment by sanitizing toys, surfaces, and equipment routinely.
- Provide individual or small group support for children requiring extra assistance with activities or emotional needs.
- Observe developmental progress and behavior, reporting significant observations to lead teachers.
- Assist children with daily routines such as arrivals, departures, toileting, meals, and rest, fostering independence.
- Model respectful and inclusive behavior to cultivate a positive classroom culture.
- Collaborate closely with the teaching team to ensure consistency and quality in educational practices.
Skills and Qualifications

- Strong communication abilities for interacting with children, teachers, and parents.

- keen observation skills to identify developmental milestones or concerns.

- Cultural sensitivity and inclusivity towards all backgrounds and abilities.
- Bachelor's Degree in Preschool Education or equivalent required.
- Completion of TKT (Teaching Knowledge Test) training course is expected.
- Previous experience in early childhood education or care settings is preferred.
