As a Lead or Principal Forward Deployed Engineer, you will serve as the primary technical leader responsible for designing, constructing, and deploying advanced agentic AI solutions within major enterprise customers. Collaborating closely with Deployment Strategists, you'll manage all phases of solution delivery from architectural decisions through to production deployment. You'll also mentor emerging engineers, drive high standards for engineering execution, and continuously innovate with next-generation AI tools like Cursor and Claude.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead full lifecycle development and deployment of agentic AI systems on the Agentforce platform, including agent logic, orchestration, and integration solutions adaptable within extensive enterprise environments.
• Manage data pipelines, model design, and data readiness leveraging platforms such as Salesforce Data 360, Snowflake, Databricks, and client infrastructures.
• Tackle complex technical challenges including integration failures, deployment issues, orchestration faults, and performance slowdowns typically escalated to senior engineering experts.
• Create and maintain performance dashboards and KPIs to monitor solution health and business impact.
• Rapidly develop proof-of-concepts and MVPs, balancing delivery speed with quality decisions.
• Document and codify reusable engineering patterns, frameworks, and internal tools to benefit the broader engineering organization.
• Mentor engineers through collaborative coding, reviews, and knowledge sharing.
• Provide critical technical guidance on high-risk or mission-critical deployments.
• Communicate customer insights directly to product and engineering teams, influencing Agentforce platform development.
• Partner with Deployment Strategists to effectively translate client challenges into deployable AI solutions.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 years in software engineering or technical delivery focused on scalable AI, cloud, or SaaS solutions within enterprise contexts.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline.
• Expertise in one or more programming languages among Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, or Apex, with working knowledge of the others.
• Experience integrating large language models (LLMs) into live systems using frameworks like LangChain or LlamaIndex and applying prompt engineering and responsible AI concepts in production.
• Strong background in data modeling, processing, and analytics across platforms including Salesforce Data 360, Snowflake, or Databricks.
• In-depth Salesforce platform knowledge including Agentforce, Apex development, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flows, and API utilization.
• An entrepreneurial and execution-focused attitude, capable of balancing rapid delivery with appropriate quality decisions.
• Proven ability to mentor technical team members and develop reusable engineering assets such as playbooks or frameworks.
• Exceptional communication skills with engineers, architects, and executives.
• Ongoing engagement with AI/data technology advancements and hands-on experimentation with emerging tools and models.
• Business-level fluency in both Arabic and English languages.
• Willingness and ability to travel to customer sites as required for project success.

Preferred Skills

• Salesforce certifications such as Administrator, Platform Developer I/II, Agentforce Specialist, or System Architect.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD workflows, observability solutions, or data governance.
• Experience designing multi-cloud AI systems for large global enterprises.
• History of shaping enterprise product roadmaps through field engineering insights.
• Contributions to open-source projects, technical publications, or presentations at conferences.
