Key Responsibilities
As the Leader of Solution Engineering for the Gulf and North Africa and Levant (NALE) regions, you will lead a regional team of Solutions Engineers. Your focus will be on setting technical strategy, aligning technical resources to business goals, and collaborating with Sales, Product, and Customer Success leadership to drive customer outcomes and regional success.
- Mentor, develop, and lead a team of Splunk Solution Engineers, fostering their technical growth and promoting collaboration to consistently deliver excellent customer experiences.
- Build and maintain trusted partnerships with customers by guiding technical strategies at both regional and account levels, ensuring solutions meet their business and technical needs.
- Collaborate with Sales leaders, Product teams, and partners to support strategic opportunities and assist customers in evaluating and adopting Splunk solutions.
- Provide technical guidance across the Splunk Security and Observability portfolios by leading solution design, architecture discussions, workshops, demos, and proof-of-concept projects that directly align with customer requirements and demonstrate business value.
- Drive consistent technical sales practices throughout the region, manage team objectives and resource deployment, monitor performance versus business targets, and act as the senior technical escalation contact for complex engagements.
Required Qualifications
- Over 5 years leading solution engineering or technical sales teams focused on cybersecurity or observability solutions.
- At least 5 years hands-on experience with Splunk Security products (Enterprise Security, SOAR, UEBA) and Observability tools (Splunk Observability Cloud, ITSI, AppDynamics).
- Proven expertise in domains such as security operations, threat detection, incident response, and digital observability.
- Experience engaging with customers or managing technical teams within Gulf or NALE markets.
- Strong background in IT Operations, Security Operations, and DevOps methodologies.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience designing, implementing, or integrating Splunk platforms.
- Knowledge of cloud-native technologies and applying AI/ML for cybersecurity and observability insights.
- History of building collaborative, inclusive teams committed to client success.
- Excellent communication, mentorship, and leadership abilities across diverse stakeholders.
