Role Overview
The Lead Talent Acquisition Partner for Southeast Asia will spearhead the hiring strategy for the Sales and Go-to-Market teams across Australia and New Zealand while collaborating on selective recruitment efforts throughout the broader JAPAC region. Reporting directly to senior leadership, this role shapes workforce planning and talent acquisition initiatives that underpin CrowdStrike’s growth trajectory.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate strategically with Sales and Go-to-Market executives to formulate workforce plans and recruitment approaches aligned to organizational growth.
- Deliver market insights, competitor intelligence, and talent trend analysis to guide hiring decisions.
- Serve as a trusted talent acquisition consultant to senior business leaders, challenging hiring assumptions through data-driven insights.
- Manage end-to-end recruiting for Sales, Sales Engineering, Customer Success, Marketing, and other Go-to-Market functions, building proactive talent pools through sourcing, networking, referrals, and market mapping.
- Elevate talent quality by employing rigorous candidate assessment, calibration, and structured hiring practices.
- Prioritize an outstanding experience for both candidates and hiring managers.
- Advocate and implement AI and automation technologies to boost recruiter efficiency, candidate engagement, and the hiring process quality.
- Lead regional and global talent acquisition initiatives focused on continual hiring improvements.
- Coach and mentor another recruiter, fostering a high-performance recruitment culture across the APJ team, sharing best practices and enhancing overall capability.
- Maintain precise recruiting data and reports using Workday and other platforms, leveraging metrics to identify trends and refine hiring outcomes.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Proven experience recruiting within software or SaaS vendors.
- Demonstrable success in complex sales and go-to-market recruitment across Australia and New Zealand in fast-paced, high-growth tech environments.
- Ability to manage projects effectively within matrixed organizational structures.
- Strong proficiency in direct recruitment techniques including headhunting, targeted advertising, candidate database searches, and referral programs.
- Track record of establishing trusted relationships with senior stakeholders, including VP and executive levels, across multiple departments.
- Capable of influencing without authority in dynamic, matrix settings.
- High data literacy and ability to apply recruiting analytics to decision-making.
- Comprehensive understanding of different attraction methods, selection, and assessment tools and the appropriate application of these techniques.
- Experience leveraging AI technologies to enhance recruitment efficiency, workflow automation, and business results.
- Familiarity with employment legislation and compliance requirements regionally.
- Ability to juggle numerous open positions while meeting ambitious timelines and quality standards.
- Excellent collaboration skills and willingness to support and share knowledge across the APJ talent acquisition network.
- Fluency in English with strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Background in cyber security or enterprise SaaS talent acquisition.
- Experience in team leadership or people management roles.
- Recruiting experience across APJ in global matrix organizations.
- Familiarity with recruiting platforms such as Workday, Greenhouse, Candidate.FYI, BrightHire, or equivalents.
