About the Role
We are seeking a Lead / Senior SAP ABAP Consultant to join our team and contribute to innovative projects in Software, System, and Test Engineering. The ideal candidate will have 7 to 14 years of experience particularly in ABAP development for S4HANA and the modern ABAP stack. This role demands expertise in RAP for Fiori, OData services, CDS views, and internal processing frameworks.
Primary Responsibilities
- Lead and guide the team during the deployment of ABAP-based solutions.
- Provide practical hands-on support for various SAP ABAP related tasks.
- Participate actively throughout the entire project lifecycle from requirements gathering to implementation and subsequent support.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure projects are completed successfully and clients are satisfied.
- Stay updated with the latest SAP ABAP tools and methodologies, and propose continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Requirements
- 7 to 14 years of direct hands-on experience with SAP ABAP technologies.
- Proficient in ABAP for S4HANA, the modern ABAP stack, and RAP development focused on Fiori and internal processes using OData and CDS.
- Experience with enhancement techniques including BADI, APIs, Custom Fields, and AIF development along with setup and configuration tasks.
- Good working knowledge of components such as SPROXY, BRF+, Application Jobs, OSS Note installations, PDF Forms, SOAMANAGER, DRF replication, IDoc configuration, APIM settings, Kafka topics, and AVRO schemas.
- Familiar with tools including SAP GUI, Eclipse ABAP Development Tools, Fiori Launchpad, SoapUI, Postman, and Lenses.
- English language proficiency at B2 level or higher.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in leading SAP ABAP projects.
- Knowledge of Continuous Delivery Services, Views, OData services, and ABAP RESTful Programming Model.
