About MaintainX
MaintainX is a premier AI-driven maintenance and asset management platform trusted by over 14,000 customers globally, including top companies such as Duracell, Shell, Cintas, and Brenntag. Having secured $150 million in Series D funding from investors like Bessemer Venture Partners and Bain Capital Ventures, our total investment capital stands at $254 million. Recognized by Forbes in the 2025 Cloud 100 list, we represent one of the leading private cloud technology firms. Our mission is to simplify work for blue-collar workers worldwide by providing enterprise-grade software that addresses their unique needs, spanning beyond traditional desk jobs.
Role Overview
We are expanding rapidly and seeking an experienced Lead Product Manager to lead the Platform and Reporting functions within our Core division, which encompasses key features such as work orders, inventory management, frontline workflows, and analytics. This position demands expertise in product management for platform solutions serving Enterprise clients with sophisticated data products. As we progress into larger market segments, our products will evolve from fulfilling the needs of operational staff to catering to senior executives and diverse stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and define platform features by bridging Core with Infrastructure and Data Engineering teams, establishing data contracts, data models, and platform capabilities foundational to reporting and analytics products.
- Lead and oversee the reporting capabilities comprehensively, utilizing data insights, user feedback, and market analysis to guide strategy around data interaction and consumption within MaintainX.
- Drive the Return on Investment (ROI) initiative, making operational benefits clear within the product experience for users.
- Deliver a blend of substantial innovations alongside incremental quality improvements to enhance the product and empower sales teams to secure Fortune 5000 clients.
- Collaborate directly with sales to support closing major deals by effectively communicating how reporting and analytics meet the demands of senior operational stakeholders.
- Transform reporting and analytics offerings to serve a wider enterprise audience, including operational leaders, finance departments, and Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) teams.
- Lead, inspire, and guide teams of designers and engineers towards ambitious objectives, setting measurable success metrics aligned with business goals.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum of 8 years in product management, with significant experience in platform or infrastructure-related roles, preferably within companies serving Enterprise clients.
- Demonstrated success building customer-facing analytics or reporting products, possessing enough technical insight to comfortably collaborate with data and infrastructure engineers.
- Proficient at managing cross-team data dependencies; adept at specifying upstream requirements while maintaining focus on downstream customer outcomes.
- Experience partnering closely with sales teams during market expansion from SMB to Enterprise, including active involvement in deal discussions and simplifying complex product capabilities for senior decision-makers.
- Proven track record in broadening product user bases from frontline staff to senior operational, financial, and EHS stakeholders.
- Skilled at making informed scope decisions on complex, dependency-heavy features, discerning when to deploy narrower solutions versus comprehensive implementations.
- Ability to unify and motivate teams around a clear vision, roadmap, and strategic goals, linking daily tasks to key performance indicators.
- Excellent relationship builder capable of working effectively at all organizational levels, from individual contributors to executives.
- Strong analytical pattern recognition skills, applying tried-and-tested solutions to novel challenges without unnecessary complexity.
- Fluent command of English, both written and spoken, essential for leading engineering managers, presenting technical priorities at executive levels, and coordinating with leaders outside Québec.
Benefits & Culture
- Competitive compensation paired with significant equity ownership opportunities.
- Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance coverage.
- Retirement savings plans including 401(k) and RRSP options.
- Flexible paid time off policy designed to meet individual needs.
- A collaborative work culture grounded in values of intelligence, humility, and optimism.
- A meritocratic environment where contributions and ideas are openly recognized and rewarded.
Diversity & Inclusion
