About the Role
Join a globally recognized leader in payments and become a pivotal member of our dynamic PCC team. We are seeking a meticulous and skilled Payroll Specialist to manage payroll operations across various Asia-Pacific locations including China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Macau, Singapore, Malaysia, Sri Lanka, Australia, and New Zealand. Your expertise will ensure precise and prompt payroll execution, comprehensive reporting, and refinement of payroll processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute payroll operations efficiently for the Asia-Pacific employee base.
- Prepare and consolidate timely payroll reports; maintain and update SOPs and checklists to guarantee adherence to compliance standards.
- Oversee superannuation and tax processes diligently.
- Compile month-end payroll reports for accounting and audits; supply necessary documentation during audit reviews.
- Produce ad hoc reports and support special projects as requested.
Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum of 10 years in Payroll and Benefits Administration with strong familiarity with APAC payroll regulations.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel; working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Google Forms; experience with Dayforce is advantageous.
- Excellent problem-solving capabilities to tackle payroll-related issues swiftly.
- Effective escalation skills when needed, combined with a proactive, detail-led, and results-focused work style.
- Fluency in English and Chinese (reading and speaking).
- Team player with a strong dedication to data accuracy and integrity.
Additional Preferences
- Comprehensive understanding of payroll responsibilities and ability to manage routine to moderately complex tasks independently.
- Strong decision-making skills and the ability to provide thoughtful recommendations.
- Minimal supervision required for daily tasks and new assignments.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Technical proficiency in Microsoft Office and Human Resource Information Systems, particularly for Payroll and Time & Attendance.
- Ability to manage and organize substantial volumes of data efficiently.
