Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and feasibility testing of SCADA and RTU system solutions, overseeing their development and validation.
- Develop scalable SCADA layouts, HMI graphic philosophies, alarm management strategies, and relational database connectivity; interpret P&IDs, FLDs, logic diagrams, and cause and effect matrices accurately.
- Manage and mentor engineering teams across multiple sites, setting coding and technical standards; review designs and communicate discrepancies for corrective measures.
- Contribute to drafting, analyzing, and assessing engineering standards and specifications to guide company and contractor works.
- Conduct inspections with clients to evaluate engineering quality and assess existing installations for compliance, recommending necessary remedial actions.
- Proactively identify operational challenges, root causes, and barriers related to engineering needs.
- Assist project and control managers by managing relationships with contractors according to contract plans to meet organizational goals.
- Utilize established knowledge management systems to integrate and implement lessons learned from previous projects.

Technical Expertise
- In-depth knowledge of industrial communication protocols such as Modbus, OPC UA/DA, DNP3, and IEC 61850 including data historian systems.
- Solid understanding of cybersecurity principles, international standards, and their applications.
- Independent execution and technical guidance in engineering development, specifications, testing, and action planning.
- Comprehensive knowledge in interpreting, applying, and training others on relevant policies, regulations, and procedures aligned with organizational objectives.
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Automation is required. A minimum of 12 years’ experience in industrial automation, focusing on PLCs, HMIs, and extensive SCADA systems is expected, including at least 3 years in a senior or lead engineering role. Familiarity with Yokogawa CI Server, FAST/TOOLS, and STARDOM platforms is preferred.
