Lead MEP Site Engineer

Job Overview

This position involves overseeing construction, installation, and commissioning activities at client sites, managing everything from site mobilization to construction, assembly, commissioning tasks, and operational management within the assigned area. The role influences departmental operations and is accountable for planning and execution. While the role operates with some independence, it focuses on executing activities within a defined operational discipline governed by standard functional practices and procedures. Judgement is occasionally required, usually with guidance.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform various technical tasks not confined to one specialized role, potentially covering multiple roles within the family, such as overseeing civil, mechanical, electrical installation, or assembly works on-site.
• May directly or indirectly supervise others including subcontractors with specialized expertise; however, responsibility excludes planning, site EHS, or quality control.
• Deepen expertise in a technical discipline and apply previous experience alongside acquired technical knowledge to implement guidelines and strategies.
• Maintain thorough understanding of business drivers to effectively perform job duties and comprehend how team outputs integrate with other teams contributing to the broader area.
• Exercise judgement to propose solutions beyond established parameters, typically under supervision; use experience and on-the-job training to resolve straightforward tasks.
• Utilize technical and analytical skills to solve problems, employing multiple internal resources beyond own team for decision making.
• Likely functions as an individual contributor with proven interpersonal skills or as a leadership prospect capable of recruiting and developing talent, while providing informal guidance to new team members.

Minimum Qualifications

• Extensive experience, with knowledge equivalent to holding a bachelor's degree from an accredited university or an equivalent high school diploma supplemented by relevant experience.
