We prototype rapidly, build functional versions, and enhance our solutions based on real user feedback from both customers and staff.

Role Overview

This lead engineering role is centered around AI-driven software development. The leadership team actively uses AI tools such as Claude Code, and you will be expected to integrate AI into your daily work and influence how the entire engineering team adopts these technologies. You will collaborate directly with company directors, manage projects end-to-end, and maintain a hands-on approach to development.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop customer-facing applications and interfaces for our online casino platforms.
• Create and maintain APIs and integrations to connect customer-facing products with internal business systems.
• Identify and resolve real operational challenges by collaborating with staff and designing effective software tools.
• Define and direct technical architecture decisions, including system integration strategies and build-versus-buy assessments.
• Lead and mentor the engineering team by coordinating priorities with directors, delegating ownership, conducting code reviews, and advancing AI-driven development practices.

Candidate Profile

We seek a candidate who actively uses AI tools daily and understands their benefits and limitations through actual building experience. You should be confident as the senior-most technical expert, able to challenge project briefs, act decisively without waiting for approval, and rigorously validate AI-generated work.

• Daily integration of AI coding assistants like Claude Code, Codex, or Cursor with demonstrable project examples.
• Proven leadership of small teams and multiple simultaneous projects, with clear distinction between delegated tasks and personally managed work.
• Ability to make and communicate technical decisions considering implications for users and interdependent systems.
• Strong self-review skills, especially pertaining to AI-produced code, adopting alternative approaches as needed.
• Quick adaptation to unfamiliar systems by asking strategic questions, testing hypotheses, and seeking expertise when necessary.

Additional Information

Location can be hybrid with mandatory presence two days a week at our Dublin office or fully remote within the Republic of Ireland (must reside in ROI).
