We are seeking a dynamic Technical Lead Software Engineer to guide a local development team within a globally distributed organization. This position involves hands-on development and leadership to craft scalable SaaS solutions integrated with IoT technology in a secure, cloud-native setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor a local developer team, ensuring adherence to technical standards and alignment with global engineering practices.
  • Serve as the primary technical authority on architectural decisions, design assessments, and best practice implementation.
  • Develop cloud-based SaaS platforms focusing on scalability, security, dependability, and high performance.
  • Integrate IoT devices with cloud infrastructure, facilitating telemetry data ingestion, device management, and over-the-air firmware updates.
  • Promote CI/CD and DevOps methodologies to streamline production delivery and shorten deployment cycles.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with product, quality assurance, security, and operations teams across multiple locations to deliver superior solutions.
  • Participate actively in crafting technology roadmaps and foster continuous process enhancement.

Required Qualifications

  • Over a decade of professional software development experience.
  • Expertise in C# and .NET Core (version 6 or higher) with experience building production-level services and APIs.
  • Practical know-how of modern cloud environments, preferably Microsoft Azure, including compute, serverless components, storage, eventing, IoT services, and infrastructure as code.
  • Experience designing and managing CI/CD pipelines using tools like Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions, including branching strategies and automation.
  • Proven capabilities in designing scalable, multi-tenant SaaS systems.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience in technical roles involving mentoring, code quality oversight, and team guidance.
  • Familiarity with frontend technologies such as TypeScript and React, emphasizing component design, state management, API integration, testing, and optimization.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Background with IoT device connectivity and protocol knowledge including MQTT, AMQP, TLS, and provisioning mechanisms.
  • Experience with microservices architecture, containerization using Docker, and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes or AKS.
  • Understanding of event-driven systems and messaging platforms such as Service Bus, Event Grid, or Kafka.
  • Knowledge of cloud security standards, identity solutions including OAuth2 and OpenID Connect, and encryption best practices.
  • Skills in tuning performance for SaaS platforms at scale.

Skills and Competencies

  • Strong capability in architectural design, system level thinking, and evaluating technical trade-offs.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills coupled with a proactive approach.
  • Effective communicator and leader able to align diverse stakeholders across locations.
  • Experience thriving within agile, distributed teams and advocating engineering best practices.

What We Offer

  • Opportunity to lead a skilled local team while engaging on global projects with significant impact.
  • Chance to innovate at the intersection of SaaS and IoT through advanced cloud solutions.
  • Competitive salary, benefits, and pathways for personal and professional growth.
