Lead Data Engineer

About the Role

CareCone Group is seeking an experienced Lead Data Engineer to join their team in Sydney on a permanent basis. The ideal candidate will possess substantial industry experience and a robust technical skill set, particularly in managing and engineering complex data systems on cloud platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain robust data pipelines within a large-scale enterprise data platform.
• Work extensively with Teradata and Siebel CRM data sets, ensuring efficient data ingestion and processing.
• Leverage strong SQL abilities to manipulate and analyze data effectively.
• Utilize AWS data services such as Amazon S3, AWS Glue, Amazon Redshift, Amazon Athena, Amazon EMR, and dbt to develop scalable data solutions.

Required Experience and Skills

• 8 to 10 years of professional experience in data engineering roles.
• Proficient in advanced SQL querying techniques.
• Substantial hands-on experience with Teradata and Siebel CRM data environments.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver data pipeline solutions within large-scale enterprise setups.
• Deep expertise in AWS services relevant to data engineering, including but not limited to S3, Glue, Redshift, Athena, EMR, and dbt.
