Job Overview
We are looking for a seasoned OutSystems Lead Developer to join our team in Sydney. This permanent role demands a candidate with over five years of experience, skilled in low code application development using OutSystems ODC. The successful applicant will drive projects strategically, mentor junior developers, and work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver top-tier applications aligned with business goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and deployment of applications leveraging OutSystems ODC low code platform.
- Engage with stakeholders to collect requirements and convert them into detailed technical specifications.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior developers, promoting best practices in low code development.
- Ensure compliance with coding standards and best practices throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Perform thorough code reviews, offering constructive feedback to enhance team performance.
- Efficiently manage project timelines, deliverables, and allocate resources to meet objectives.
- Keep abreast of the latest trends and innovations in low code development and the OutSystems environment.
- Assist in troubleshooting and debugging applications to maintain optimal functionality.
- Conduct training sessions and workshops for both team members and other stakeholders to uplift skills and knowledge.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Demonstrated expertise with OutSystems ODC platform.
- Comprehensive understanding of low code application development methodologies.
- Proven leadership experience managing development teams and overseeing projects.
- Familiarity with Agile frameworks and project management tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to facilitate collaboration.
Preferred Additional Skills
- Experience with alternative low code platforms.
- Working knowledge of web technologies including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Understanding of database management systems and integrations.
- Hands-on experience with cloud services and deployment strategies.
- Relevant certifications in OutSystems or related technologies.
