Join the team at Anantara Mina Al Arab Ras Al Khaimah Resort, a prestigious destination offering luxurious experiences on the Arabian Gulf's pristine eco-sanctuary in Ras Al Khaimah, UAE. This role involves ensuring all guest and hotel laundry is processed efficiently and handled according to hotel standards and safety protocols, maintaining cleanliness and item quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Promptly process guest and hotel laundry in line with SOPs and specific item care requirements.
• Safely store and use chemicals to prevent hazards for self and team members.
• Operate laundry machinery correctly, respecting loading capacities and operational guidelines.
• Sort linen and laundry items by type and color before washing.
• Collect laundry from guest rooms efficiently as per hotel requirements.
• Classify guest laundry for dry cleaning, pressing, or washing and delegate accordingly.
• Ensure all guest laundry is properly cleaned prior to delivery back to rooms.
• Respect guest privacy by observing 'Do Not Disturb' notices during laundry deliveries.
• Submit billing details to the cashier department by shift end.
• Support team members and undertake additional hotel duties or special projects as assigned.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Prior experience in laundry operations is essential.
• Comprehensive understanding of laundry procedures including washing, drying, pressing, folding, and sorting.
• Competent in operating commercial laundry equipment with safety awareness.
• Basic knowledge of various fabrics, detergents, and stain treatment techniques.
• Strong attention to detail to detect stains, damages, or missing laundry items.
• Physically capable to stand for long durations and manage laundry loads.
• Effective time management and organizational abilities.
• Adherence to health, safety, hygiene, and chemical handling protocols.
• Dependable, responsible, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
• Good communication skills paired with a customer service mindset.
