Role Overview

The Laundry Attendant is a vital member of the Housekeeping team, responsible for ensuring the thorough cleaning, processing, and presentation of all linens, uniforms, and guest laundry to the highest quality standards. This role requires dedication to maintaining an organized, efficient laundry operation that supports daily resort activities while reflecting the brand’s core values.

Responsibilities

• Carefully process all laundry items including linens, uniforms, and guest garments with efficiency and attention.
• Sort, wash, dry, press, and fold fabrics following company standards and specific fabric care requirements.
• Ensure all cleaned items are well-presented and delivered promptly.
• Operate and upkeep laundry machinery safely and effectively.
• Continuously monitor the quality of laundered items, reporting any damages or abnormalities immediately.
• Maintain a clean, orderly laundry area at all times.
• Manage laundry supplies by replenishing and monitoring stock levels.
• Strictly adhere to hygiene, sanitation, and safety protocols.
• Report equipment issues or malfunctions to the supervisor promptly.
• Properly store and handle all linens, uniforms, and guest laundry items.
• Respect guest privacy and confidentiality when managing personal belongings.
• Follow company grooming and uniform guidelines consistently.

Candidate Requirements

• 1 to 2 years of experience working in laundry operations within a luxury 5-star hotel or resort environment.
• Strong knowledge of laundry processes, fabric care techniques, and hygiene standards.
• Detail-focused with a dedication to quality in processing linens and garments.
• Excellent team collaboration skills.
• Proficient communication in English; additional languages are beneficial.
