Laundry Attendant

About the Role

Join our team as a dedicated Laundry Attendant where your passion for cleanliness helps ensure our guests’ comfort and satisfaction. You will be responsible for the upkeep of bedding with a focus on hygiene and safety while maintaining a positive and cooperative work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, sort, and examine used bedding for stains, wear, and damage.
• Load and operate washing machines and dryers following proper guidelines.
• Fold, hang, and neatly organize clean linen for easy access and distribution.
• Iron linens as required to preserve a tidy and presentable appearance.
• Manage storage and rotation of linens, keep track of inventory, and report equipment issues.

Qualifications and Experience

• Possess a high school diploma or an equivalent qualification.
• Previous experience in a similar role or hospitality sector is advantageous.
• Physically fit to stand for extended periods and capable of repetitive movements such as bending and lifting.
• Able to work independently with minimal oversight and also as part of a team.
• Willingness to work flexible schedules including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
