Position Overview: Laundry Attendant
As a Laundry Associate, your role is essential in enhancing guest experiences by ensuring fresh, clean linens and towels. Your efforts will contribute to families enjoying their stay comfortably after a day by the pool or gathering around immaculate dining settings. Immediate hiring is underway for local candidates only.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate laundry machinery by loading, running, and unloading washers and dryers efficiently.
- Perform washing, folding, and ironing of towels, linens, napkins, and tablecloths.
- Maintain machinery by cleaning and proper upkeep according to training guidelines.
- Keep laundry areas clean and organized and ensure shelves are stocked.
- Support monthly linen inventories and prepare stocking for housekeeping carts.
- Build and sustain positive relationships with guests and colleagues by addressing inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
Required Qualifications and Attributes
- Capability to understand and follow straightforward instructions, memos, and short correspondence.
- Strong commitment to customer service excellence.
- Maintain a professional appearance paired with a positive, proactive attitude.
- Ability to perform tasks either independently or collaboratively in a team setting.
Compensation and Benefits
This role offers an hourly wage of $19.00.
Employees working 30 or more hours weekly are eligible for an extensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision coverage, flexible spending accounts, life and accident insurance, disability benefits, paid volunteer time, 401(k) matching (subject to eligibility), legal assistance, income protection options, wellness programs, employee assistance, and paid leave options depending on position and tenure.
