Laptop Hardware Technician

Job Overview

Looking for a skilled technician to diagnose and repair hardware issues in HP laptops. This position requires expertise in troubleshooting and resolving hardware faults efficiently while maintaining quality and safety standards.

Primary Responsibilities

• Identify and fix hardware problems in HP laptops involving components like RAM, storage drives, keyboards, displays, batteries, motherboards, fans, and charging ports.
• Safely dismantle and reassemble laptops for repair or upgrade work.
• Address issues related to power supply, charging, display, system boot, overheating, audio, keyboard, touchpad, and connectivity.
• Install operating systems, device drivers, and necessary software configurations.
• Conduct thorough hardware tests post-repair to ensure proper functionality.
• Maintain accurate records of devices received, repaired, and returned to customers.
• Communicate clearly with customers regarding complaints, technical issues, and repair needs.
• Adhere strictly to HP’s service protocols, quality benchmarks, and safety procedures.
• Collaborate with the service team for warranty and out-of-warranty repair coordination.
• Keep tools, equipment, and workspace organized and well-maintained.
• Ensure secure and safe handling of all customer devices at every stage.

Required Qualifications

• Proven expertise in diagnosing and repairing HP laptop hardware components.
• Competence in laptop disassembly and reassembly techniques.
• Knowledge of operating system installation and driver configuration.
• Skill in hardware testing and troubleshooting varied laptop issues.
• Ability to maintain detailed documentation and communicate effectively with customers.
• Familiarity with HP service standards and safety guidelines.

Compensation

Monthly salary ranges between 18000 to 32000 INR.
